Deadpool is a Marvel character who is know for his funny dialog delivery and and rated “R” acts! I love this guy and have few Marvel Legends Deadpool, this Comic Deadpool is the first one to enter my collection and love him. Because I have a huge collection of 1:12 scale model motorbikes, I love doing toy photography sessions with them and this weekend is no different!
I love photographing this Deadpool because of his bright red outfits and crazy posing ability. This weekend, I picked a 1:12 scale Ducati Monster by NewRay as Deadpool’s ride (in the past I did one with an AUTOart Vespa around the time Deadpool 2 movie hit cinemas). I recently started working on my first diorama, and decided to use that to.
This Deadpool figure is know for his crazy articulation, so I used it to grab some mean pose both on the Ducati and also by the bike. And just to add some variety and interest, added some props like a home made trashcan, a used pizza box and grade made a simple scene… cinematic.
This Deadpool figure came only with a couple of katanas and no gun… But Deadpool like guns and lot of them so I gave him a pistol, which came with Winter Solider. I also played with some lighting and got some cool shots (I guess) with the gun in his right hand.
As I mentioned earlier, this action figure can do some crazy poses and the shot above of Deadpool reaching for his katana with his left hand is a cool one. The only thing I wanted to do is and missed doing this weekend is putting the unmask head from Souron wave Deadpool.
This Deadpool can sit quite well on this Ducati Monster and I wanted to put him in some riding poses (actually I did take a few) but because of the perception issue, yeah my diorama is not that big so the shot looks a bit off. But there was one, which came out well. Once this Covid restriction gets relaxed I will try some riding shot in actual outdoors just this his causual cousin’s shot. Till then… Ciao!
