I love to do outdoor toy photo shoot especially with action figure that are big and brute! Marcus Fenix is one action figure that works well in any location so I picked him for this weekend toy photography adventure. The theme is kind of jungle rescue mission so the location of my choice is my backyard, which is filled with all sort of greenery.
I use a Nikon 55-200mm tele lense to blur out the background and give that cinematic looks, which I love the most specially when the light id good and the figure is oozing with details.
Because I love cinematic frames I put this Marcus Fenix around those small plants that mimic big tree, which kind of give a seek around like feel. The tele lens helped me to get close and also to pick fine details like the rifle detail that this figure is holding in his right hand.
Green leafs from the low grown plants gave some added green shade to the photos. I placed out main character Marcus Fenix figure around green leafs to create some dramatic shots. The grass grown around ground level gave something to look out for.
I totally enjoyed this photo shoot as the final output was beyond my expectation and got that rain forest look. The bokeh that I got was also nice and very smooth. The weather kept itself well and the lighting worked magic in most shots. Hope you had fun, because I had a lot creating them, till next time. Ciao!
