The movie Bumblebee finally hit Indian movie screens few days back and Toys R Us is fully stocked with toys and action figures for all kids and professional collector. The action figures start at as low as INR.199/- and go all the way up to 12k for a collector class figures. The collection is mostly new and not as extensive as Hamleys, which had some kick ass RC transformers and some even had some sound effect along with the normal transition.
Along with other action figure there are some more Transformers essentials that will add some Bumblebee theme to your desk… Yeah I am talking about the MightyMuggs series Transformers. I have seen some Marvel characters some time back and now we are getting the Bumblee, Optimus Prime, Starscream and Megatron.
There are some more Masterpiece Movie Series MPM-3 Bumblebee thats is targeted at professional collectors and even the pricing(INR.6499/-) is reasonable. Because it is kind of a diecast build the package is heavy and feels worth every bit of money you pay for it.
Hamleys collection is mostly targeted at the recent movie Bumblebee but this Toy R Us is focused on Transformers with special focus on the newer movie. But you can find some Decepticon also in the mix like my all time favorite Studio Series Blackout by Hasbro.
Bumblebee theme shows up in the collection and the wall of Bumblebee makes it crystal clear. Toys R Us is also running a promotion for purchase of over INR.1999/- they are giving away two movie tickets worth 500. I personally liked the decor of Hamleys but Toys R Us came a real close.
